An abandoned building owned by the City of Mons, bought back and fully transformed into four high-end apartments.
It stood empty in the middle of Mons, and it belonged to the City. Buying from a public authority means accepting procedures, timelines and a level of scrutiny most investors would rather avoid.
We went for it. We took over the building and restored it entirely with the architecture practice Axiome, respecting the character of the building.
The result: four exceptional apartments in the heart of Mons, where the history of the building remains readable in every volume.
We chose not to sell La Coupe. The building has remained part of our portfolio and the four apartments are let and operated by us today.
La Coupe is the project we point to when people ask what adding value to a property really means. It is not a coat of paint. It is giving a building back the place it deserves in its city.
