A historic mill with no purpose left, turned into a fully permitted scheme of four holiday homes with a spa.
An old mill in Obourg. A historic building, beautiful stone, and no contemporary purpose left. The kind of property everyone stops to look at and nobody buys, because nobody knows what to do with it.
We acquired it in 2020. Our work went into what really decides the value of a site: the vision and the permission. We designed a scheme of four holiday homes with a spa area, put the file together and obtained planning permission.
We then sold the site on with its scheme and its permit, ready to build.
It is an operation we are particularly proud of. Anyone can buy a building. Few people can turn a building with no purpose into a permitted, costed and financeable project. Value is often created long before the first shovel hits the ground.
