A bare plot an hour from Lisbon, turned into twenty-one villas with private pools.
In 2019 we bought a plot of land in Lourinhã, on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, an hour from Lisbon. Nothing existed yet. No design, no permit, no buyer.
There we developed Santa Barbara Village: twenty-one detached villas with private pools, designed for an international clientele looking for sun, space and a value for money that the Lisbon market could no longer offer.
We carried the project from start to finish. Design, permits, construction, branding, sales. Every villa was sold individually.
Santa Barbara Village was our first large-scale operation outside Belgium. It taught us how to work with foreign teams, foreign rules and foreign markets — a skill we have relied on ever since.
